Did you know..

An anonymous left a message on one of my post today to tell me that onions are actually poisonous for dogs.. Honestly, that is something new for us.. We know junk food such as chocolates, raisins, cakes, sweets are bad for us doggies. But never could I imagine healthy human food could cause us doggie harm.

Just to set the record right, as much as my human (mostly my mom) likes to spoil me with human junk food, she usually gives it to me in moderation. So I am all good.

Anyway, after reading the message on the post, mom went to do a little research on the food that could possibly make us uncomfortable.  Hey, what do you know, even parts of tomatoes can make us sick .. Can you believe that..So, if you guys are interested to know more, check it out at http://www.healthypet.com

We love human food too but Mommy makes sure that we don't get any of the bad stuff. That is a very accurate list.:)

I did know that onions were bad, but that whole list is going to come in handy, I think. My general distaste for veggies has made it easy to keep me away from all that stuff. The only human food I like is plain meat and cheese, pretty much. I'll eat some pasta, but only if it's covered in a nice cheese sauce. But we don't know about Brooklyn yet so that complete list will come in handy for him. Thanks for posting it.

    lotsa licks, Lola

Our Mom is obsessed with checking this type of list! She is convinced she is going to give us something that will make us sick. We don't get many people foods or even dog treats. We only get carrots as treats and usually not even one a day. Milly is on a strict diet!

Thanks for posting this! I knew about the eggplant - a couple of years ago I had a piece of eggplant and got pretty sick. Never again!
