Welcome Party ...

Yay!The day finally came..I'm FINALLY HOME !! HOME SWEET HOME!! 

I have to say it's by far the best present I could possibly ask for.... to be finally home.. 

Before I go on and on about how amazing it is to be home.. let me share the horror part of the story with everyone first.. 

So the story goes..

As the big day came, everyone was excited. Including the "Guardian Angels" of SAQ.. So we expected PetMovers to be at the quarantine on time so we (myself and another poochie) could all go home early to be with our family after serving our one month at the quarantine center.. 

10 A.M came, then 11.30 A.M came and still no sign of the guy from Pet Movers to come get us out.. Mommy was getting worried as I was supposed to be home by 11A.M. Impatiently, she called SAQ to investigate on the story and it turned out at Pet Movers TOTALLY forgot about us ... and that set dad on a crazy turbulent..  They waited til 12 noon before dad made the call and when they called the guy was still at his store doing other stuff..  As imagined, he picked up the phone and *&^%$# at the guy.. 

So after all the scolding, I got home at 1 P.M .. 

Neway, we should have picked up on the bad service way earlier since we noticed that one of the services that they offer; Companionship service- where they go to the SAQ to walk and keep the dog company consist of only 3 minutes of their time each day and it costs over 300 Bucks for the entire service.. Mom can't help but feel sorry for the owners that engage Pet Movers for their crappy companion service.. But of course there are some who beg to differ that 3 minutes is better than nothing... But what people doesn't know is that the assistants at the SAQ spend more than 3 minutes a day walking and playing with all the dogs that are in there.. And they bring the dogs out for short walks every few hours without the extra penny..  So, if anyone is planning to relocate to Singapore, please do not go to Pet Movers for the reasons above and many other reasons which we don't think we should mention. 

Anyway, the happy part !! 

It was amazing just to be home.. You know what is ironic about this whole thing being home? Is that I know precisely which unit is my apartment even without having been in there... Isn't that weird .. I guess it's the trail of mommy and daddy's smell that led me to the front door of our apartment...

 Party hat is on !! ( Unlike Bella, I can't sit still with the hat on.. hence daddy had to hold me *embarrassed*)

This was the second best part of the party.... 

 And the best part of the party is when I get all my presents !!!! Treats and toys .. 

And of course not forgetting to mention the nice soft bed at the end of the evening.. tugged in between my pawrents... It's simply amazing..

On the way...

So the usual walk to visit me at the SAQ was the same old way.. But.. the only difference was, it was pouring cats and dogs 5 minutes before mommy had to walk through the park to get to me.. So, this is what she saw on the way .. which we thought was rather interesting at the same time, sending all our hair standing just looking all those crawlies.. 

Can you guys guess what the clusters are?? 

Those are thousands of red ants congregating. Not sure if they were trying to keep each other dry and warm due to the pour.. Anyway, we thought it was an unusual behaviour.. 

2 more days to go and I'm at home sweet home !!

Slimming centre

I know I've lost some weight over the weeks due to the lack of interest in my once favourite thing in life -- FOOD !! No worries guys.. I've been a good girl these days.. I'm slowly whetting up an appetite again.. Like Priscilla said, I need to eat more so I can play with mom and dad !! Thanks for the encouragements my dear dear bloggie furriends.. 

Anyway, mom was really curious with how much weight I have shed? So I had to hop on the scale.. Any idea how much have I lost since I got into quarantine??? Any idea anyone??? ..........

A whopping 7kg in 2 weeks !!! 

Mom is having mix feelings about the weight shedded as she doesn't really like my new scrawny look but at the same time she is happy she can lift me up easily and whenever she wants too without causing further injuries to her back..  

Anyway, I'm sure the weight will come right back once I get home !!

New grass ..Is it really greener on the other side? - Part 2

Friday came and went slowly.. No visitation was allowed as it was a public holiday.. *Boo* So hopefully Saturday would be a better day .. The centre was pretty busy with hoomans running around .. but I'm just stuck in my little room. 

But guess what happened later in the afternoon? my  DADDY came to visit !!! 

Kisss.. kisss.. kiss.. kissss.. kisss.. i miss my dadddy sooo much!! 

After some nice quality time in the room, we decided to go hang out in the sun a little  .. 

                                       

Just look how love can make one glow ?? And it's getting really hot, we should probably chill out in the room again... 

                                            

What do you have there for me?? Yay !! Some yummy yummy treats.. But I ended up sniffing and licking it more than actually chewing on it.. Mommy's not too sure what is happening there.. 

 

It was getting a little chilly in the room so we decided to hang out at the open area in the room .. Hey I can see the other dogs who live opposite me.. Daddy reckons it's crossed with a Collie and a Sheep.. I think he's been watching too much of Full Metal Alchemist with mom..  

                                          

Mommy and daddy had to leave a little earlier today as it started to drizzle.. But it's ok.. I was very happy to see them !! BTW, how do you like my sesame street t-shirt?? I confiscated it from mom and now it's mine !! Hopefully the t-shirt will keep me warm .. Thanks for bringing me the extra blanket and Tshirt mommy .. Oh and not forgetting the jumping jack!! 

PeeS : The officer at the centre told mom that I'm not eating .. So I think she is gonna cook me summore nice meal?? * paws crossed* What can I say...that's what you get for leaving me at the quarantine centre for the entire month.. The little princess needs to let of some steam..

New grass ..Is it really greener on the other side?

Hi Guys !

So I  finally made it into the new land known as Singapore.. Mom was freaking out when we crossed the border. She was so worried that, for some funny reason, the immigration officer was gonna tell her that I can't pass.

Anyway, I am glad to announce that everything went smoothly according to plan and there was no hiccups at all.. which mom has to solute the government for having such efficient system. We did our clearance in less than an hour ! *4 thumbs up*

It was tough watching mommy and the rest of the family (grannies, Uncle CK) leave at the end of the clearance as they were no longer allow to follow from that point before I was sent to the quarantine station at Sembawang. But it's ok cuz mommy came very soon after to visit me at the centre.

*sniff* sniff*sniff*Let's see if the grass is any different from the one back home?

                                       

Oh.. someone is on the other side of the fence.. By the way, they have individual play pens around the centre so each of us can have our little outlet to play..

Hello there! I'm Moiselle.. Nice to meet you .. hope to see ya around more often.. Will hang out again later.. 

All in all, the place is very clean and nice.. and mommy is very please with the condition of the centre..and good news is, I am slowly settling in..  

The people that looks after the place here are very nice as they will take us out from our private rooms for a quick walk everyday.. So that is another relief for mommy as she was worried that I will be in the room the entire time when she is not allowed to visit.. (it's a PH tomorrow so I won't get to see mom until  Saturday and I just can't wait til then)

PeeS: Mommy made some really nice dinner for me today but I didn't have the appetite.. Hopefully my big appetite will kick in again really soon.
