What a pretty weekend..Blue sky complement with cool breeze..

And we started the weekend with the visit to Dr. VET..

Huh?? Annual booster?? Nope can't feel anything..

Second, Rabies jab.. : Huh!! I don'need a rabies Jab..Oooucchh "

After all the ouchies and a nice long sunny walk home..the best thing to do is to unwind by the pool ..

A few drops of water to keep the temperature down..

and some beer..

and more beer... (note from mom: it's only a teaser.. she didn't have any beer)

And I can only say it's been a brilliant day..If only this can be a daily ritual..

Some may already know, I'm counting down my days in Singapore cuz I will be moving back to my mother land this coming Thursday, 19 January 2012. And I just cannot wait to go back to a place with proper space and cousins to play with..

Don't get me wrong Singapore.. I love you.. but not as much as I love countries that has more space to run around..

P.S: I feel like Moiselle knows that she is moving back to Malaysia and there has been a massive positive change of mood with the girl. She has been very happy and extremely playful since we told her that we will be sending her home first. Sometimes I wonder if she can really understand what we tell her..

I get my daily dose of eggs mixed with my kibbles every morning.. Without the shell of course.. So what do I do when the whole egg is presented to me?

Bite it?

Try to balance it on my nose?

Or smell it to see if there is any chic in there?

Or give it a little loving..

Oh dad! Just crack it and give me my food...

p.s: Mom is planning to test out my retriever skills.. she wants to know if I am as gentle as the Goldie or a terrier when it comes to picking up eggs.. (hmmm.. this is gonna be fun.. messy fun! )

We all know it's that time of the year where we all get some nice little goodies in all various forms..

And I prayed really really really hard, so hard that I no longer know how to describe.. and still my wish did not come true.. (at least for this part)..

Dad decided to buy mom a new flashy beast for her Christmas present..

Good news is, I haven't really been her victim since she got it cuz she had to rush of to meet Aunty S. who visited all the way from Down Under..

And you know the best place to visit this time of the year is Orchard Road.. if you have not visited Orchard Road, you have never been to Singapore.. (and that's the how the saying goes)

My folks hated Christmas in Singapore and they try their very best to avoid this place if possible during this time of the year..

But,

I think the whole Christmas decor really appeal to mom more, now that she has a new toy to play with..

I have to agree, Orchard Road has one of the most beautiful Christmas decor in the entire Asia and it is something not to be missed.

And now I just have to play ~~dead~~ sick when she is back so she will spare me..

Frankly, it's been really difficult to post anything over the weeks with my folks traveling so much.. Before I knew it..

Pooofff! Mom is gone..

Her turn with the " business trip" nonsense..

And my little antenna sticking up from my rear end is signaling another "business trip" call from dad real soooon..

Before we continue, please allow me to say that I tried to stop my mom from stealing my blog to write about her little trip cuz it's totally irrelevant to our doggy world but she promised that it is totally relevant.. At least some part of it...

Anyway,

The night view of the lively Hong Kong that she has to deal with every night for the last 5 nights..

And the spectacular view from all the offices that she has been going in for meetings over the week.. Mom said it's remarkably difficult to have a full concentration at a meeting, and have eagle friends visiting outside the window.. ( I can so totally relate to that..)

Despite the crazy schedule, mom managed to squeeze some time to find this entire street filled with pet shops.. She didn't say it, but I know she helplessly fell head over heal a million times, over and over again over each puppy and kitten (and possibly goldfish and rabbits) she saw in every shop..

And since you bought so much treats for me, mom, I just want to tell you that I have forgiven you for all the infidelity that happened in the foreign island.. (and yes! I've been bribed..)

(Note from mom: Shopping for treats and accessories for pets in Hong Kong can get out of hand very easily as they are more than 50% cheaper than Singapore and Malaysia. However, be mindful when buying treats manufactured in PRC since they do not necessary comply with the food safety standard.

Moiselle had 2 tiny treats from "My Honey" and the next day she had trouble controlling her bladder.. She was leaking every hour and a little lethargic..We are pleased to inform everyone that she is back to her normal self now after 24 hours.)

I have to say, out of all the yummy stuff she got, I love the mouse toy the most! Which lead my dad to some confusion.

All I have to say to that is.. toys shouldn't be divided or clasified.. Just cuz it's marketed for the cats, it doesn't mean we dogs can't enjoy playing with it.

I am not sure about your folks but one thing I am sure of is that my folks have a Japanese fetish.. Particularly the alpha male in the family...

His dream to visit Japan one day finally came few weeks ago...and again, we were left back to "guard the house" like how he likes to describe it whenever we are not allow to follow..

And his excuse for not having us tag along is " It's a business trip".. so - bye !

So several days later, he returned with all these exciting pictures which he took on "his way to work"

The super cool dragon winter coat as displayed on the immobile dog on the floor and the other on the table... Unfortunately dad didn't get it for me cuz we have no winter here for me to dress up to..

So a BIG BOO BOO to Singapore now !!!

And then this! We all have to agree that this Frenchie is just too cute and totally fit into the Japanese culture of Kawai-i!

And then this cute eggie thingy... Which mom still has yet to share it with me cuz she is hoping and praying that if she leaves it in the box long enough it will multiply.. So I will report back again once I know how it taste..

Find a friend day - Saturday Expedition

Remington is planning something big for this weekend.. Mommy decided we will do something exciting too .. that we will make Saturday a day for me to make new friends ..

The reason ?? So that I will be friendlier with other dogs?? *ppfffttt* *roll my eyes* Am I not friendly enough already mom?

So the expedition begins..

First sniff by Bagel the Beagle.. and then followed by the her younger brother but mom couldn't get the picture cuz he was as fast as lightning..

And a baby Shih Tzu in shoes..

and then Blu, the 9 year old grey Mexican Chi Hua Hua.. She is the size of a squirrel!! Her master said they had to wait for 3 loooong years for this particular breed cuz they are so rare ! Did you know, she also has dark blue eyes.. now that's really rare..

And then an army of them !! Too many puppies and I don't think I can handle it anymore..

I think I would very much prefer some alone time with my dad than playing with the other puppies..

We decided to explore the neighbourhood a little, last night..see what else the east coast of Singapore has to offer.

Singapore neighbourhood, here we come!

We have to say, the city view of Singapore is breathtaking. Sadly, we didn't have a proper camera to take any of the picture.. But we promise we will share it the next time.

As we were walking along the river, this huge temple looking roof appeared right in front of us.. And daddy said, that's where we are heading to...

a national park message to the dog owners...I think i see my face there except it says, boerboel.. So I'm good without a muzzle.

So it turns out, it wasn't a Xmas party after all.. mommy said this is where I will be staying for 2 days on 31 December 2010 and 1 January 2011 while they are off to celebrate my granddad's birthday!!

Mom say I will have a blast time at this summer camp as I will get to play with other doggies all day long.. And best of all, we all get to do a slumber party at the living room every night ..

Definitely better than what ever they have to do on new years eve!!

Help is needed urgently at the K9- Katastrophe home right now !! As some of you might already know.. They (Ruthie's hooman) recently saved 4 stray puppies from the street.. And these puppies need some medical attention.. For those that doesn't know about it...

She is running a little fund raising activity to raise some green papers for the puppies medical bills and possibly food too. So, please swing by her site to share some of your support and if your bank accounts permit, please send some green papers over.. Even the smallest amount will make a difference for these cute little puppies..

Sorry for not posting for the longest time. Again, I have only my secretary a.k.a my mom to blame as she has been extremely busy at work. As much as I would like to put the blame on her, it's really not her wish to come home late every night and working on public holidays..So you are forgiven mommy..

Since I am a very considerate daughter, I won't ask for much this week until you are less busy..

The weather over the last few days have been nothing but crazy.. We are glad to report the haze is finally gone and mom was amazed by the amazing sight of the scene tonight .. We can't put our finger / paws to the description of it.. So we will leave it to your judgement..

The new moon is out.. Wonder if any werewolves will be howling to it tonight?
We are amazed how the picture turned out..

And as the cloud moves out, we finally got a clear sight of the bright yellow moon.. We hope to see more of this for the next few nights..

It's almost noon but it feels like 7 am today.. So mom and I decided to check out the leash free park at the East Coast Park .. We were told that every Sunday, the hoomans will take their 4 legged friends to the park and let them run free!! Just in case you guys are not aware, Singapore is a country where all 4 legged friends (dogs) must be on leash at all times.. Otherwise, a big ticket will be heading your way..

Where is everyone?? Booo.. Let's continue our walk mom ....

They are both from the Canada !! Turned out that they don't live very far from us.. In fact, I've met them once by the river that mom and I walk most the nights.

As we were chatting, or rather the human were chatting, mom found out that the fats that protects the doggies during the winter time, also protects them from the heat in a hot country like this. Apparently, since we dogs do not have sweat gland, the fats help to regulate our body temperature.

As we were heading home, the fishes came over to asked if they could follow us home too... ( Yeah, right!! How i wish ..)

Mom is back to work !! And you guessed it.. I'm home alone all over again... I pray and pray and pray that she will be home with me again soon.(* I don't think im asking too much right?*)

While she started on her new job, I received a surprise from a dear friend.. All I can say is that, the timing cannot be any better than this ..It was just PERFECT !!!

A package in the mail from Ruthie and possibly Otis .. I hope Ms. Maggie Mae wouldn't mind if Otis really did share to send this present to me too..

A special tribute to my brother German

Sorry for not writing for the longest time.. So much has happened over the weeks and we needed sometime to absorb and digest everything that has happened so far..

It was meant for a call for celebration when mom picked up the phone to call granny. But in return, we received some devastating news on German.. He left to a better place..

German took a peaceful ride over the Rainbow Bridge on 2 September 2010.. Granny said German was so ready to leave, he just lay in a position for Dr. E to give him his shot without needing any assistance from the nurse.

I guess his body has really given up. Granny said there was a sudden viral attack that caused many open wounds all over his body and his old body just won't heal anymore..

Guilt started to feel mom's soul as she felt she has never really been there for the beautiful gentle giant. She wish she has shown her more love like she has with Baby and me, and most of all, she wished she was there to see him for the very last time.

A huge dent is what you have left in our hearts

A true and unconditional love is what you have always given us

We cannot thank you enough for being the most hard working soldier

Keeping us safe day after day

Your time has now come, so rest in peace my dear boy as you have worked enough

The bumps

Calling all boxer furiends and all other furiends that has the answer to my problem.. So, I've been getting these bumps on head for awhile now.. I think it's been a month or two now and it's starting to worry mom...

It's nothing very new since I've been getting them since I was 2. They usually start from the body first and then a little on a head and will only stay around for a week. Mom reckons it's almost seasonal. They usually appear once every 4 months...

But now she is getting a little worried as the bumps doesn't look like it's going anywhere and if anything, the number is just multiplying.

So guys, if you know what it is or experienced or experiencing the same thing, we would love love love love love love to hear from you..

Yay !! I've recently been bestowed with this award by my best boxer girl friend Maggie Mae.. Thanks Maggie Mae.. You are always the sweetest !

So the rules of the game is that you have to do a kiss and tell of yourself that your friends might or might not know about me.. And then I will have to pass this award to 15 of your wonderful furiends..

Here we go..the 7 or 8 things that you might or might not know about me..

1. I've only recently moved to Singapore cuz my dad took up a job offer here. Prior to moving in with my parents, I had to go through one month of quarantine at the SAQ to make sure I'm clear from all diseases..

2. The weekend before mommy and I moved to Singapore, I lost my beloved sister - Baby Raisy. She left at the tender age of 14!! We believe she is watching down on us even until today.. Even so, I still misses her everyday..

3. I think I have also recently lost my brother German to old age too... The last time we spoke to granny back home(last week), she told us that it is probably time for German to cross the Rainbow bridge as he is in more pain than usual.. And the maggot attack was just getting outta control.. :(

4. I like my new home as it is definitely a more pet friendly country. I get my daily walks and the best part is I get to go pretty much everywhere in Singapore as long as I'm on the leash.

5. I'm still a puppy at heart eventhough I am almost 4 .. They say I will continue to act like a 3 year old kid until the day i cross the bridge.. I believe the world for it is Peter Pan for the Dog world..

6. I love all the furiends I've met on the cyber world and I can't wait to meet more of you guys out there..

7. daddy says I impersonate other animals.. A seal? A bat? A monster? A hamster? I say, he is outta his mind !!

8. I get beaten up by CATS !!

The last time I received this award, I couldn't give to 15 of my wonderful friends cuz I didn't have as many friends.. So right now, I would like to give this special award to all my 32 furiends that has been following my post. You guys have been absolutely amazing..

I know, I know I've been missing for the longest time.. My secretary has wondered off to a new job recently hence the slow update.. Although she hardly has time for me since she started work, I have to say, I am very happy that she finally got back into the working scene again.. Might not be the dream job she is after, but at least there is something to keep her feet on the ground.. ( She was going insane staying at home the last 1 and a half months)

Have you ever wonder how much we resemble our parents.. or the habits we take after them?? It's really interesting to think about it..

I've always been known to be a timid dog.. my dad blames it on the up bringing.. As a puppy, mom would demonstrate how to freak out whenever there is a lizard nearby, and be far away whenever something foreign is in my way or heading my way..

So anyway, we were out the other day and my hooman caught me freaking out at my own shadow!! Dad had a great laugh and strongly believed that I got that weird habit from mom as she freaks out at the tiniest things.. and not hard to guess at all, she gets all jumpy at her own shadows too..

My hooman recently celebrated their Anniversary few nights ago in "style".. Dad was planning a romantic dinner somewhere in the city, plus some quality time with mom. An anonymous left a message on one of my post today to tell me that onions are actually poisonous for dogs.. Honestly, that is something new for us.. We know junk food such as chocolates, raisins, cakes, sweets are bad for us doggies. But never could I imagine healthy human food could cause us doggie harm.

Oh, what a bummer! It's been raining since Friday morning and I haven't been going out.. It's even hard to have some peaceful toilet time when it's raining so heavily.. Boo ..

My hoomans have been doing nothing but sleeping and junking the whole day!! Waking up late in the afternoon, then eat and the more sleep.. Just when you thought it is only us pets that do things like that.

Yesterday, we decided to take the FELINE which mom personally doesn't fancy at all due to the many distractions "on the way, in the middle of it and on the way home".. Personally, I love this line the best cuz I get to see so many things..

Yay!The day finally came..I'm FINALLY HOME !! HOME SWEET HOME!!

I have to say it's by far the best present I could possibly ask for.... to be finally home..

Before I go on and on about how amazing it is to be home.. let me share the horror part of the story with everyone first..

So the story goes..

As the big day came, everyone was excited. Including the "Guardian Angels" of SAQ.. So we expected PetMovers to be at the quarantine on time so we (myself and another poochie) could all go home early to be with our family after serving our one month at the quarantine center..

10 A.M came, then 11.30 A.M came and still no sign of the guy from Pet Movers to come get us out.. Mommy was getting worried as I was supposed to be home by 11A.M. Impatiently, she called SAQ to investigate on the story and it turned out at Pet Movers TOTALLY forgot about us ... and that set dad on a crazy turbulent.. They waited til 12 noon before dad made the call and when they called the guy was still at his store doing other stuff.. As imagined, he picked up the phone and *&^%$# at the guy..

So after all the scolding, I got home at 1 P.M ..

Neway, we should have picked up on the bad service way earlier since we noticed that one of the services that they offer; Companionship service- where they go to the SAQ to walk and keep the dog company consist of only 3 minutes of their time each day and it costs over 300 Bucks for the entire service.. Mom can't help but feel sorry for the owners that engage Pet Movers for their crappy companion service.. But of course there are some who beg to differ that 3 minutes is better than nothing... But what people doesn't know is that the assistants at the SAQ spend more than 3 minutes a day walking and playing with all the dogs that are in there.. And they bring the dogs out for short walks every few hours without the extra penny.. So, if anyone is planning to relocate to Singapore, please do not go to Pet Movers for the reasons above and many other reasons which we don't think we should mention.

Anyway, the happy part !!

It was amazing just to be home.. You know what is ironic about this whole thing being home? Is that I know precisely which unit is my apartment even without having been in there... Isn't that weird .. I guess it's the trail of mommy and daddy's smell that led me to the front door of our apartment...

My folks have been very excited as the day of release approaches.. How would I know right? Since I am still stuck in the "6 star pet hotel".. Well, for the most obvious reason is that my secretary a.k.a my mom has been telling me excited she is to have me back home and she went on and on about some surprises awaiting for me.. and she just can't wait for Saturday the 26 June 2010..

One of the surprises that they have for me is ......

I guess i got fooled !! Those colourful things are not burger, they are macarons... and that means I wont be getting any of it cuz it's full of sugar.

But I'm sure mommy will let me have a taste of each colour since they are of different taste.. Just hope I don't get all hyper at the end of the tasting session..

By the way, it was my dad's idea to bring this fake burgers home... clearly he is up to something evil..

So the usual walk to visit me at the SAQ was the same old way.. But.. the only difference was, it was pouring cats and dogs 5 minutes before mommy had to walk through the park to get to me.. So, this is what she saw on the way .. which we thought was rather interesting at the same time, sending all our hair standing just looking all those crawlies..

Can you guys guess what the clusters are??

Those are thousands of red ants congregating. Not sure if they were trying to keep each other dry and warm due to the pour.. Anyway, we thought it was an unusual behaviour..

Not sure if i mentioned, I was once rolled into agility classes but dropped outta class pretty much after 4 classes cuz I reckon I am too GOOD for agility classes... Despite how good I was at class.. it was a different story all together. I was getting bored going up the same bridge, going into the same tunnel, and jumping over the same pole again.. Tell me, what kinda excited am I supposed to get if you are asked to do it a million times, over and over again!

My first day at school.. Daddy and I were checking out the rest of the students..

Task 1 : Jump over the pole.. Ok.. That's easy peasy..

Task 2: No sweat .. Jump over those white hurdle thingy..

Task 3: You want me to jump over the pole then go through that black and red thing?? What are the hoomans up to now?

No !No ! Im not going in there..Im scared of the dark.. ( just look how supportive those hoomans are trying to shove me into the tunnel)

Ok.. I made it through the first round with the help of the hoomans... Next round, Im on my own.. Look how excited I am in the picture..

Wow !! This is some really long tunnel.. Like never ending !! Wait!! I think i see my dad at the end of the tunnel ...

Ta !! Da !! I'm out alive !! and it's actually pretty fun!! Ok.. gonna call it a day.. the sun is out..

So those were my days at agility classs. Glad to know Eva is totally enjoying all the hurdles.. Dad and mom pretty much gave up after the 4th class as they figured they are only wasting their Sundays away if I continue to be a brat.. Cuz most of the Sundays when we were there, it was usually scorching hot even at 9am and I don't play very well under the hot weather... Wonder what happened to those cool breezy Sunday mornings?

Bella the Westie invited us to join her little hat party.. So mom thought it would be a great opportunity to catch some nice pictures of me in a hat !!! hahaha !! Really, what was she thinking?? she must be outta her mind again ( like always ..) Anyway, regardless the outcome we had a fantastic time during the photoshoot session..

Ok.. Ok.. before the paparazzi go exaggerating on the story.. hear it from me first.. Yes.. I got a little excited and I jumped on the photographer.. I'm glad to say, no one was injured.. (I promise,, it was only a friendly jump)

I know I've lost some weight over the weeks due to the lack of interest in my once favourite thing in life -- FOOD !! No worries guys.. I've been a good girl these days.. I'm slowly whetting up an appetite again.. Like Priscilla said, I need to eat more so I can play with mom and dad !! Thanks for the encouragements my dear dear bloggie furriends..

Anyway, mom was really curious with how much weight I have shed? So I had to hop on the scale.. Any idea how much have I lost since I got into quarantine??? Any idea anyone??? ..........

A whopping 7kg in 2 weeks !!!

Mom is having mix feelings about the weight shedded as she doesn't really like my new scrawny look but at the same time she is happy she can lift me up easily and whenever she wants too without causing further injuries to her back..

Anyway, I'm sure the weight will come right back once I get home !!

We were going through our picture albums and stumbled on some of these pictures.. It looked as though the Heaven door was opened awaiting for BabyRaisy's arrival...

So, I'm sure mom mentioned that I haven't quite whet the appetite for anything the past few days. It's been a long 9 days and it is really starting to worry mom. So she came up with this brilliant idea to help me whet up my appetite.

That's right.. Cottage cheese mixed with my kibbles. And not forgetting those yummy bread too.. It DEFINITELY did do the trick.. I ate 3/4 of the food !!

Before giving mom all the credit, honestly it's not her original idea to add cottage cheese to my food. She went crazy googling on the type of food that could probably help and that is still not harmful for me.. So there you go .. Nutritional and the same time yummy !!

And by the way, it was dad's idea to give me cheese... I had some great time eating cheddar cheese at the start.. but only later to find out that the sodium content is not very beneficial for me if they are planning to make it as one of my staple food ..

Friday came and went slowly.. No visitation was allowed as it was a public holiday.. *Boo* So hopefully Saturday would be a better day .. The centre was pretty busy with hoomans running around .. but I'm just stuck in my little room.

But guess what happened later in the afternoon? my DADDY came to visit !!!

Kisss.. kisss.. kiss.. kissss.. kisss.. i miss my dadddy sooo much!!

After some nice quality time in the room, we decided to go hang out in the sun a little ..

Just look how love can make one glow ?? And it's getting really hot, we should probably chill out in the room again...

What do you have there for me?? Yay !! Some yummy yummy treats.. But I ended up sniffing and licking it more than actually chewing on it.. Mommy's not too sure what is happening there..

It was getting a little chilly in the room so we decided to hang out at the open area in the room .. Hey I can see the other dogs who live opposite me.. Daddy reckons it's crossed with a Collie and a Sheep.. I think he's been watching too much of Full Metal Alchemist with mom..

Mommy and daddy had to leave a little earlier today as it started to drizzle.. But it's ok.. I was very happy to see them !! BTW, how do you like my sesame street t-shirt?? I confiscated it from mom and now it's mine !! Hopefully the t-shirt will keep me warm .. Thanks for bringing me the extra blanket and Tshirt mommy .. Oh and not forgetting the jumping jack!!

PeeS : The officer at the centre told mom that I'm not eating .. So I think she is gonna cook me summore nice meal?? * paws crossed* What can I say...that's what you get for leaving me at the quarantine centre for the entire month.. The little princess needs to let of some steam..

Hi Guys !

So I finally made it into the new land known as Singapore.. Mom was freaking out when we crossed the border. She was so worried that, for some funny reason, the immigration officer was gonna tell her that I can't pass.

Anyway, I am glad to announce that everything went smoothly according to plan and there was no hiccups at all.. which mom has to solute the government for having such efficient system. We did our clearance in less than an hour ! *4 thumbs up*

It was tough watching mommy and the rest of the family (grannies, Uncle CK) leave at the end of the clearance as they were no longer allow to follow from that point before I was sent to the quarantine station at Sembawang. But it's ok cuz mommy came very soon after to visit me at the centre.

*sniff* sniff*sniff*Let's see if the grass is any different from the one back home?

Oh.. someone is on the other side of the fence.. By the way, they have individual play pens around the centre so each of us can have our little outlet to play..

All in all, the place is very clean and nice.. and mommy is very please with the condition of the centre..and good news is, I am slowly settling in..

The people that looks after the place here are very nice as they will take us out from our private rooms for a quick walk everyday.. So that is another relief for mommy as she was worried that I will be in the room the entire time when she is not allowed to visit.. (it's a PH tomorrow so I won't get to see mom until Saturday and I just can't wait til then)

PeeS: Mommy made some really nice dinner for me today but I didn't have the appetite.. Hopefully my big appetite will kick in again really soon.

The puzzle finally fit

The last week was an horrendous experience for us.. Specially for mom.. Everything was going down slop for her..

From the holdup of my permits to Singapore and to the passing of our beloved BabyRaisy.. and everything else..

I was scheduled to leave for Singapore last Sunday, but the local agent that was supposed to help with the paperwork suddenly dumped the responsibility back to mom just 2 days before the departure and all she said to mom was " Now is between you and Singapore. I'm not involved anymore" .. Mom had a shock of her life and loss for a second.. Not knowing where to start, she of course went to my Dr. Vet for some guidance.. and we later found out that there were tonnes of paperwork that needs to be prepared for the move !!

See, just right before the family decide to put Baby to her permanent slumber, the agent called to break the awful, dreadful irresponsible news to mom.. And 1 hour later, mom got a call from my nana saying that they have decided to let BabyRaisy go.. it just set mom straight into an unbearable turmoil.

Mom was having mixed feelings about leaving on Sunday now.. But by Friday evening, the permit has yet to be received.. Mom was feeling rather relief that it was held up.

We spent Monday tying all the lose ends for the permits and we finally got everything sorted this afternoon.. We are glad to say, we got all the paperworks needed for the move on Thursday morning! Mom believes that, our beloved BabyRaisy is looking out for us and made sure everything is going smoothly for us..

The final goodbye

We believe for every beginning, there will always be an end .. That's how all tales go.. What goes up, must come down.. Same goes with life..

At the age of 13 years and 4 months, BabyRaisy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday morning, 23 May 2010 at 9.30 am. I thought it was going to be the toughest thing to do - to let your beloved one into a permanent slumber.. But life is always full of surprises. It's true when they say, " You will "know" when the time comes." And because it was "time", the moment was easier to bare as we watched her go painlessly and peacefully.

I have to admit, it was more painful to watched her the last 3 weeks not eating and drinking, than to watch her go into her permanent slumber.

As Buddhist, we believe that one is not dead, but has taken a different form of life.. So, as much as we miss watching a jolly furball rounding around the house and greeting us by the door when we get home, we know she is still spiritually with us, looking after us and guiding Moiselle onto the right path..

We can only say so much thanks to everyone for the all prayers and well wishes. Words can't express how grateful we are to have amazing friends and furriends to help us through this difficult time.. Again, thank you very much !

To those that are facing such difficult time, we just want to say, when the "time" comes, be courageous... let go ..
